In the Jungle

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

This is such a fun quilt with jungle animals all over it: lions, giraffes, monkeys, zebras. Wouldn’t it make a great play quilt for a baby? Or any little kiddo to snuggle up with who loves animals?

Ready for Bed

Even quilts as large as this one are possible with Susan’s long arm quilting machine. Notice how far down it hangs and even has enough room at the top to tuck the pillows under. Beautiful!

This red and cream pinwheel quilt is full of Half Square Triangles. Triangulations software makes these so easy and fun to put together. If you happen to be in the shop, ask Susan to show you how simple it is. You just print out a page labeled with your desired size. Sew around the dotted lines, cut on the solid lines and then you have a bunch of HSTs to play with!

Quilt Parade

Monday, March 8th, 2010

Susan has been very busy and the shop is full of beautiful quilts! If your are visiting the area this next week for the Quilt Fest, be sure to stop by and see what she has been up to.

The quilt above is made up of Civil War Stars.

Here’s some new fabric by Marcus Brothers that recently arrived.

Stay tuned this week. We’ll have a little quilt parade and show some more photos of quilts Susan has been working on.
